1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use DateIn. By registering for or using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You are not prohibited by applicable law from using the Service.
• All information provided by you is accurate and truthful.
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

DateIn reserves the right to request proof of age or identity where reasonably necessary.

2. Account Registration and SecurityAccount Creation

Certain features require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep such information updated. You may not create an account using false information or impersonate another person. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials and for activities conducted through your account. You must notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorized access to or use of your account.

DateIn will not be responsible for losses resulting from your failure to adequately secure your account, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. One Account Per User

Unless expressly permitted by DateIn, users should maintain only one active personal account. We may suspend or remove duplicate, fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized accounts.

3. Profile and Identity Verification

DateIn may require users to complete identity, selfie, photo, mobile number, email, or other verification procedures.

Verification features are intended to improve authenticity and platform safety. However, a verification badge or successful verification does not constitute a guarantee regarding a user's identity, background, intentions, character, or conduct.

You agree not to manipulate, circumvent, falsify, or interfere with any verification process.

4. Community Standards and Acceptable Use

DateIn is intended to provide a respectful environment where adults can discover, communicate with, and connect with other users.

You agree not to:

• Use DateIn for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
• Harass, threaten, bully, stalk, intimidate, exploit, or defame another person.
• Upload or distribute unlawful, abusive, hateful, or excessively violent content.
• Upload pornographic or prohibited sexually explicit content.
• Promote or encourage self-harm or dangerous illegal activities.
• Impersonate another person, business, organization, or public figure.
• Provide materially false or misleading profile information.
• Create fake profiles or use another person's photographs without authorization.
• Engage in scams, financial fraud, phishing, or deceptive activities.
• Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or unauthorized commercial promotions.
• Solicit money or financial information from users for fraudulent or deceptive purposes
• Scrape, harvest, collect, or extract user information without authorization.
• Use bots, scripts, automated systems, or unauthorized software to access or manipulate the Service.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, damage, or interfere with DateIn's security or technical systems.
• Upload malware, malicious code, viruses, or other harmful technology.
• Violate another person's privacy, intellectual property rights, or other legal rights.

We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, or permanent termination.

5. User Content

“User Content” includes photographs, profile information, text, messages where applicable, voice introductions, videos, prompts, interests, and other content you submit or make available through DateIn.

Ownership

You retain ownership of your User Content.

License to DateIn

By uploading or making User Content available through the Service, you grant DateIn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, adapt, and distribute your User Content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, promote, and provide the Service, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where continued retention is reasonably required for legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or regulatory purposes.

Your Responsibilities You represent that you own your User Content or have all necessary rights and permissions to provide it to DateIn.

You must not upload content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.

6. DateIn Intellectual Property

The Service and its underlying technology, software, interfaces, designs, branding, logos, graphics, databases, algorithms, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to DateIn and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any portion of the Service without our prior written authorization.

7. Communication and Interaction Between Users

DateIn provides technology that enables users to discover and communicate with other users. DateIn does not guarantee:

• The identity of any user.
• The accuracy of information provided by users.
• The intentions or conduct of any user.
• Compatibility between users.
• That interactions will result in a relationship, date, or successful match.

You are responsible for deciding whether and how to interact with other users.

8. Offline Meetings and Personal Safety

Meeting someone through an online dating platform involves inherent risks. You should exercise reasonable judgment and precautions when communicating with or meeting another user.

When meeting another user in person, users are encouraged to:

• Meet initially in a public place.
• Inform a trusted person about their plans.
• Arrange their own transportation.
• Avoid sharing sensitive financial information.
• Be cautious when sharing personal information.
• Immediately leave or seek assistance if they feel unsafe.

DateIn is not responsible for the conduct of users inside or outside the Service, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law. Users should report suspicious, abusive, fraudulent, or dangerous behaviour through the available reporting mechanisms.

9. Background Checks

Unless expressly stated otherwise, DateIn does not routinely conduct criminal background checks on every user.

We do not guarantee that a user has no criminal history or that information provided by a user is accurate.

Verification should therefore not be treated as a substitute for reasonable personal safety precautions.

10. Subscriptions and Premium Services

DateIn may offer paid subscriptions, premium features, digital services, or other in-app purchases.

Prices, subscription periods, benefits, and applicable taxes will be displayed before purchase.

Automatic Renewal

Where permitted by the relevant payment platform and applicable law, recurring subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled before the applicable renewal deadline.

Users are responsible for managing their subscriptions through the platform through which they purchased them, including the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or another supported payment provider.

Changes to Pricing

DateIn may modify subscription prices or premium features from time to time. Where required, users will receive appropriate notice before changes apply to an existing recurring subscription.

11. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel a recurring subscription through the platform or payment provider through which it was purchased.

Cancellation generally prevents future renewals and does not necessarily terminate access to paid features before the end of the already-paid subscription period.

Refund eligibility may depend on the payment platform's policies and applicable Indian consumer protection laws.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict any mandatory refund, cancellation, or consumer rights available under applicable law.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us.

Our collection, processing, storage, sharing, and protection of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data protection laws.

By using DateIn, you acknowledge that your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Where required by law, we will obtain appropriate consent before processing certain categories of personal data.

13. Reporting and Moderation

Users may report accounts or content they believe violates these Terms or our community standards.

DateIn may, where permitted by law:

• Review reported content or accounts.
• Remove or restrict content.
• Issue warnings.
• Restrict account functionality.
• Suspend accounts.
• Permanently terminate accounts.
• Preserve relevant information for security or legal purposes.
• Cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities where legally required.

We are not obligated to disclose confidential details regarding investigations or enforcement decisions except where required by law.
